Faith Lessons – Walking In Love

Walking in love seems to be much easier when others walk in love with you too. But then it would be easy wouldn’t it? 1 Corinthians 13 has become the token love scripture and it says:

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
In this political season there is so much happening. A lot of hatred flying in our nation. Words like “racists” and “ignorant” are as common as hello. People get mad if you vote for Trump or Clinton or if you like police or if you don’t agree with police.
It seems like tempers are flying. So what is the answer? Walking in love is not a feeling. I should know LOL  You don’t love someone because they deserve it.

That’s not really spiritual love at all. You walk in love because it’s who you are and Who’s YOU are.

So the next time a Facebook argument breaks out just remember to breathe, walk in love  and be kind. Maybe this video will help too.

I’m preaching to myself as well on this because Lord knows that a daily love walk takes patience, kindness and faith.
