Our Tennessee Mountain Log Cabin Home Is Looking Alot Like Christmas

I know you are out bustling and hustling, hopefully you are getting your Christmas shopping done. We’ve been busily decorating our Our Tennessee Mountain Log Cabin Home for our very first Christmas in our new home. It’s still very surreal our move from the city to the country. Every day is an adventure. One filled with stink bugs, lady bugs, and pretty much lots of bugs. Yuck. This part is definitely not my favorite.

We bought our Christmas tree the other day and thankfully in spite of all the fear online about real trees being loaded with bugs no extra bugs have invaded our home from our tree. ( just the normal ones we have without the tree LOL) Good thing everything we read on the internet is so true right? šŸ˜‰

We added a few lights and next year I’ll hopefully pick out more decorations. We’ve already had two Christmas plays one that I produced to go to so it’s been a tiny bit busy.Ā  I hope you are enjoying this special time of the season. I know that I’ve been challenged to stay content. It’s so easy to look at what everyone else is doing and wish “If only I could do more.” But just know at this moment in time to enjoy every second. So often I’ve wanted something else and when the moment is passed looking back I thought, “Why didn’t I appreciate that time a little bit more?”

No matter how you spend the Holidays I hope it’s prosperous and happy and blessed. Let me know what you would like to learn this coming year I’ll have some new fun things to share but as always I would love to hear from you.

Missing you friend! May your days be Merry and Bright. Thank you for reading.
